The above term has been applied to the Manicheans - what does it mean? Dr. Steiner indicated that the Young Man of Nain was a previous incarnation of Mani. That boy was the son of a widow. Hiram Abiff was also the son of a widow, so you also have the designation used by Masons. The phrase was on the lips of Mormon founder Joseph Smith before he died. "O Lord my God, O Lord my God, O Lord my God, is there no help for the widow's son?"

In his only lecture on Manicheism in November 1904 in Berlin (in GA 93) Rudolf Steiner says that the new form for the true Christianity of the 6th epoch will be created in our present 5th epoch by the reincarnated Mani and his small band of followers.
ReplyDeleteIn my motion to the upcoming General Assembly of the General Anthroposophical Society on October 31 at the Goetheanum, I posit that Rudolf Steiner, representing Mani, created just this form during the Christmas Conference in 1923 for the refoundation of the Anthroposophical Society, but that this social corporeality for the new Manichaen Christianity has been severely damaged and needs to be restored by modern Grail knights (see: http://Willehalminstitute.blogspot.nl).
